Frances Perkins Public Service Award
On November 8th, WLC's Employment Law Hotline received the Frances Perkins Award from the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law. Thank you to the ABA section for recognizing the important work of the ELH, and congratulations to our ELH staff and volunteers for this well-deserved honor!

Legal Advocate, Elena Martinez Fernandez, attended the 15th Annual Immigration Law and Policy Conference, held in Washington, DC. Elena wro
te: "They had an amazing panel and covered valuable information about the current immigration system here in America. They touched on multiple topics but focused on the following matters: new regulations and policies created for the last year by the Trump Administration, the US-Mexico Border Enforcement, the need for regional approaches, DACA, TPS and Asylum, and the migration crisis originating in Central America." Thank you, Elena, for bringing back helpful information for MEDOVI clients!
