TSPLOST: Your Pennies for Transportation
The City plans a continued focus on transportation improvements throughout the city in 2018. In addition to 20 percent of the City’s annual budget contributing to capital projects to improve infrastructure, the T-SPLOST tax, passed in November 2016, has accelerated a large number of traffic efficiency improvements and multi-modal programs, aimed at creating sidewalks, bike paths and last-mile connectivity needed to enhance transit use. As construction of these projects get underway, there will be impacts to the daily commute. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work to improve the city’s connectivity and transportation routes.  You can keep updated on planned lane and road closures by visiting the City’s Road Work Advisory page.
