Keep clipping those BoxTop$! Every valid BoxTop collected is 10 cents for our schools. Please send in your BoxTop$ in a sealed Ziploc bag or envelope. 

If you are interested in submitting digital coupons, use the  mobile app to scan your receipt including qualifying products.  The money instantly gets added to our school's online earnings.  Select CONOVER ROAD ELEMENTARY as your charity.  We will still be accepting physical coupons until they expire. 
DISTRICT-WIDE READ-A-THON
    
RUNNING MARCH 2ND - 13TH
This year the PTO is kicking off Read Across America Week with a District-Wide Read-a-Thon!! KINDERGARTEN PJ STORYTIME
 
MARCH 3RD | 6:30-7:30 PM | CRPS LIBRARY
Join your friends during Read Across America Week for pajama storytime at the library!  Wear your coziest pjs and come ready to enjoy a good book. This is a FREE drop off event open to current Kindergarten students only.  Oreos, goldfish crackers, and juice included.  Students must send in a signed   PERMISSION SLIP

CRPS BOOK SWAP 

 
MARCH 3RD | PRIMARY SCHOOL FOYER
Time to clean out those bookshelves!  Please drop off gently used, age-appropriate books (Pre-K to 3rd grade only) to the Primary school lobby from February 3rd to February 28th. All students will attend the swap during school hours to choose their books.  The more we get, the more we can give out!   To volunteer, or for more information, contact Kim at kim@kaufmanmail.com.
3RD GRADE GAME NIGHT

6TH GRADE IPLAY TRIP

Join your friends for an afternoon of fun and games! Cost is $20/student for PTO members and $30/student for non-members.  Price covers rides, 4D theater, go-karts, unlimited non-redemption games, one game of laser tag, and a $5 redemption game card. GRADE-LEVEL GALA BASKET CONTEST
  
Don't forget to donate to your child's grade-level basket!  After the gala, the basket with the most tickets will WIN a pizza party for the ENTIRE grade! The more you donate, the better the basket!!  For more info on how to donate for your grade-level basket, please visit our SPRING GALA page to view your collection list.  You can also send a monetary donation with Venmo directly to Colleen (@Colleen-Wilcox-2).  Please label payment  with your child's name and grade.

8TH GRADE PHOTO MONTAGE

Calling all 8th grade parents, please submit photos for the 8th Grade Photo Montage!  Please send in at least two  school-related photos of your child, including their name and school event/year the photo was taken. Mrs. Rao is seeking CRES parents to help with this year's elementary school art show on April 7th. Volunteers are needed to mat artwork, to organize and supervise a refreshments table, and to set up an activity table for students. If you are able to assist with any of these projects, please email Mrs. Rao at rao@coltsneckschools.org.

At the close of the 2019-2020 school year, three members of the executive board team will be completing their term on the board.  We are currently looking for PTO members who are interested in joining our team for the next school year. We are seeking volunteers interested in the positions of Secretary, Communications Director, Assistant Treasurer, and Student Activities. COMMUNITY CORNER
  
Friends of Different Learners is hosting a meeting on March 11th at 10 AM in the Administration Building.  The speaker will be Tim Rohrer, a young adult with autism from New Jersey.  He wrote a guide to teach children about inclusion that went viral and has been widely circulated throughout the country.  Tim will also talk about his struggle to fit in with his peers and how he overcame the challenges.

The Colts Neck Sports Foundation has announced the following info:
  • Baseball and softball registration is open for boys and girls, ages 5-13.  Opening Day April 4th. Visit WEBSITE for more info.  
  • Lacrosse clinics are available and season begins mid-March.  Visit WEBSITE for more info.  
  • Flag Football registration is open and season runs March 14th - May 9th.  Visit WEBSITE for more info.  
  • Tickets are now available for An Afternoon in Candyland - Father Daughter Dance on March 8th from 2-6PM.  View FLYER for details.
