8TH GRADE GRADUATION ADS
DATE EXTENDED!
SUBMISSIONS DUE MAY 30TH
Let your graduate know how proud you are of their achievements by placing a congratulatory ad in the 2025 Cedar Drive Middle School graduation program! These ads are a great way to celebrate your graduate's hard work and they make terrific keepsakes.
All pages are black and white and can include photos. We also offer a Shout-Out section just for students. Students may want to show support for their friends as they move onto high school, or they may want to thank their favorite teachers and administrators.

2ND GRADE CARNIVAL
MAY 30TH | 6:30-8:00 PM | CRPS CAFETERIA
Join your friends for a FREE, fun moving-up celebration for this year's graduating Primary School class! The evening will include inflatables, carnival games, face painting, photo booth, pizza and popcorn, and a commemorative 2nd grade t-shirt! Please complete the online permission slip by FRIDAY.

As part of our 8th Grade celebrations, we will be hosting an Ice Cream Social for the 8th graders on June 17th. This fun event includes yearbook signing and a Baby/Now photo display.
Please send in 1 PRINTED 4x6 baby photo of your student and 1 PRINTED 4x6 current photo of your student. Clearly label both photos with your child's full name on the back. Photos can be sent to the main office or with your student to homeroom. NO DIGITAL PHOTOS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Please note, photos will not be returned.

JUNE 5TH - JUNE 16TH | CRPS LIBRARY
All Primary and Elementary school students will visit the book fair with their classrooms during school hours to get geared up for some fun summer reading! You are welcome to come visit and do some shopping with your kids during the school day or during the Art Show on June 5th!
PLEASE NOTE - There will be NO CASH accepted during the book fair.
If you are unable to attend your child/s designated day, you can set up a Scholastic eWallet account here or shop with your child online. If you are able to attend, Credit Card, Apple or Google Pay will be accepted.
All proceeds from this event go directly to the CRPS and CRES libraries. Check the schedule and/or sign up to volunteer on the attached flyers below.

It's time for our 5th grade class to get ready for the last big bash before leaving Conover Road Elementary School! All fifth-grade students will celebrate their move up from CRES with a special party during school hours on Thursday, June 19th. The celebration will include a DJ, photo booth, pizza, flavored ice truck, outdoor games and yearbook signing. Students should bring a beach towel and a pen for signing yearbooks. GRADES PRE-K TO 7TH ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE!
Send in your photos! Our calendars have been very busy with events lately! Now is the perfect time to remind everyone to send in event photos for the Photo Montage.
Traditionally, a montage of photos, from kindergarten through 8th grade, is prepared and presented to the students at their 8th grade dance. This montage is then sent to the graduating class as a gift from the PTO. Please send any school related photos you may have to the appropriate email address below. Examples include: Class Trips and Parties, School Performances, School Sports (tennis, cheerleading, cross-country, track, basketball, baseball, softball or soccer), or any PTO events including Grade-Level Events, Family Bingo Night and Flower Sale.
Please follow these steps:
- Include your child's name, the event, and year the photo was taken.

Colts Neck Township will be holding their annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26th starting at 10:30am at Town Hall. Afterwards their will be a ceremony and refreshments at Firehouse #2. Please arrive to Town Hall early if you will be in the march.
The Colts Neck Sport Foundation is running a Spring Basketball Clinic for Boys and Girls Grades 2nd - 8th, players will be coached by this year's State Championship Colts Neck High School Boys Basketball staff and players. For more information, contact Steve Russell at srussell@frhsd.com.
The Colts Neck Sport Foundation has opened registration for Spring Wrestling for novice (less than three years of experience) and brand-new wrestlers in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This program is a great opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills, build confidence and learn the fundamentals of wrestling in a fun and supportive environment. Link HERE to register.
The Colts Neck Sport Foundation has opened registration for Tackle Football Spring Clinic for athletes ages 8-12. This clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of tackle football in a fun and instructional setting.

The Colts Neck Sport Foundation is hosting the 2025 Father Daughter Dance on June 7th at Trump National Golf Club. To purchase tickets or for more information, the link is available HERE.
The Colts Neck Police Department is hosting a Youth Academy this summer on July 21st-July 25th at Bucks Mills Park. The application deadline is May 9th and the cost is $175. More information can be found HERE.
