Meet with a volunteer attorney for 30 mins to discuss a civil legal issue (this can include family law, conciliation/civil court, protective orders, simple probate/estate questions, etc.).

Building a Resume in MS Word 2 - Thursday, January 28th, 10:00-11:30am - This is the second of three workshops dealing with how to effectively format a resume in MS Word. Some of the topics covered will be custom bullets, default and custom tabs, and working with the table format.

Creative Job Search: Internet and Social Media (LinkedIn) - Tuesday, February 2nd, 10:00-11:00am - Do you know how to effectively use the Internet and Social Media to assist in your job search? What does networking look like online? This workshop will provide answers to those questions and provide helpful tips on how to leverage a LinkedIn account to enhance your career.

Interview Skills Workshop - Wednesday, February 3, 1:00-2:30pm - Approach your next interview with increased confidence. Learn how to answer challenging interview questions, gain frameworks to structure your response during the interview, and develop tools and techniques to prepare for and follow up after the interview.

New Annual and Perennial Fun in 2021 - Thursday, January 28th, 7:00pm - There is nothing better to improve your mood than flowers, and with your office now 5 steps away, you can enjoy your flower beds more now than ever! Join Carrie Larson from McHutchison Horticulture Distributor as she shares some of the newest annuals and perennials hitting the market this spring! Carrie will talk about flowers that are hardy for you, that hold up in the wind and weather, and you can find for sale in your area garden centers this spring, if you get there early enough!! Registration required.

Online Makers' Circle - Wednesday, February 3rd, 5:00-7:00pm - Whether you're weaving, carving, painting, drawing or kneading, bring the project you’re currently working on for an evening of creativity. This program is taught online by staff from Silverwood Park. Reservations required.

Fireside Reading Series: Yelena Bailey - Wednesday, February 3rd, 7:00-8:00pm - This week, researcher Yelena Bailey discusses her book, How the Streets Were Made: Housing Segregation and Black Life in America.

Garden Talk: Adding Whimsy to Your Garden - Wednesday, February 3rd, 7:00pm - Does gardening sometimes seem like all work and no play? This session takes a look at the lighter side of gardening. So, what is whimsy, botanically speaking? Whatever tickles the witty gardener’s fancy! From sundials to fairy gardens and everything in between, come enjoy this pictorial tour of several enchanted sites and develop some ideas for your own whimsical spot.
