Give back

Support the Bioscience High School with a gift drive!

This holiday season, we are giving back to our community by supporting the Phoenix Union Bioscience High School with a gift drive, and we could use your help. If you are able to, we would love for you to select a student or two on the list to give a gift to.

  1. You can find the list of available students here. Select your student(s) or family(s) by selecting the Checkbox in Column E. That will highlight the row green. Fill out the rest of the information to the right. (This information will not be shared with the student unless you would like it to be. This is so we can track gifts coming in).
  2. Bring your gift to Phoestivus on December 14 or 15Phoestivus is taking place on the Phoenix Bioscience Core this year and is an awesome event featuring food trucks, live music, drinks and games to help support the Downtown Phoenix Farmer’s Market. There will be a drop off location in front of the high school both evenings.
  3. If you can’t make Phoestivus, please email us to arrange a drop off or pick up time for your gifts. You can also have gifts shipped directly to the high school. The address is located in the spreadsheet. Please include your name on the return label so we can track the gifts as they are delivered.
Give back here.

Under a dazzling display of lights, the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix commemorated the 10th anniversary of its separate accreditation (2012 – 2022) by hosting a Community Ball in the horseshoe of the Health Sciences Education Building.

The event, which featured remarks from Dean Guy Reed, MD, MS, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Executive Director of the Phoenix Bioscience Core, David Krietor, honored the hard work and dedication of the faculty, staff and students who have helped the college live up to its mission over the last 10 years.

ASU Hacks the Human at 850 PBC

ASU Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation Dean Judith Karshmer’s message was simple:

If we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?

“We’ve learned in our focus on health wellness that it’s not somebody doing something for us. It’s us doing it ourselves,” Karshmer said at the start of the "Hacking the Human: Innovative Approaches to Wellness" conference on Dec. 2 at the Health Entrepreneurship Accelerator Lab in downtown Phoenix.
