For nearly 20 consecutive days, Los Angeles wildfires continued to spew over thousands of residential housings prompting ongoing nation-wide evacuations of more than 100,000 residents at one point. Amidst the peak of crises, atmospheric concentrations of lead, neurotoxins and chlorine spiked at over 100x the average levels. With almost two dozen people confirmed dead, it's unclear whether Los Angeles would ever recover from this catastrophe.
