VMTA member Petr Kepka would like to share his newly completed piano trio, Mirror and Exhortations, a poignant reflection on war, its profound suffering, and the hope of redemption and forgiveness.

“The motivation behind this project was to protest war and the killing of innocent people. The piece is not easy to listen to, but war itself is not pleasant either. My hope is that this composition will help people reflect on the daily struggles and loss of life that occurs every day.”
