Library Impact During COVID-19
Over the past 8 months, the Libraries have continued to serve our students and faculty in traditional and new ways. Most of our staff have continued to work remotely since mid-March. While our buildings are not fully opened yet, we are continuing to serve the FAU community.

We look forward to getting back to the way things were as soon as possible. For updates from the FAU Libraries, visit our What to Expect page or follow @faulibraries on social media.
Through a statewide initiative, the FAU Libraries are transitioning access to e-resources authentication to a new system called OpenAthens. This new service was implemented on November 12, 2020.

Non-Perishable Food Available to Students at Wimberly Library
In collaboration with Beyond Food Program and Food Pantry, the FAU Libraries are making non-perishable food available to students to raise their food security level to persist toward academic success.

Virtually Tour the Wimberly Library
We miss you and can't wait for you to tour our spaces in person.
While we currently only have the first floor open for students, we are still here to connect with you virtually. Not only do we have a comprehensive list of all our online resources on our Lib2Go page, but we have also created a 360 video tour that allows you to see the full extend of all our spaces.
Florida Atlantic University’s subscription to the RefWorks citation management software ends December 31, 2020. To help facilitate this transition, the FAU Libraries offers a variety of free web-based alternatives.
The FAU Libraries joined schools across the country to participate in the National First-Generation College Celebration on November 8, 2020. Check out our resource guides as well as our first-gen staff and faculty stories about why they decided to go to college.
