Southwest Discovered

Located in the Mesa Verde region of Colorado, Southwest Discovered is a place founded on love for the Southwestern United States and a passion to share the lifestyle, arts, foods and cultures that make this a unique land that is like no other.

Co-founders Jim and Amy Dodson are award-winning photographers and graphic designers who have vowed to be forever sightseers in their own region. Each week they post an article or photo essay in celebration of a guest who embraces their SW lifestyle, an art gallery or festival, fine dining or roadhouse find, unique hike, tour of ancient ruins, an original recipe that most likely requires chiles, or a new road leading to an amazing destination.

Southwest Farm to Yarn Collective

Nurture and enrich the lives of members and community by creating a sustainable hub where people who share a passion for fiber can buy, sell, create, teach, share, and celebrate all things fiber.
The Collective will operate with honesty, integrity, and transparency. It will be a welcoming place of collaboration and sharing. We will be promoters of the local fiber ecosystem, flock to finished product. We commit to each other that we will be respectful, genuine, dependable, and flexible. We will communicate openly for the betterment of the Collective.
Our fiber hub will be a viable retail and educational enterprise meeting the needs of the communities around us. The Collective will be a welcoming creative space for fiber enthusiasts of all skills and forms.
