Interpretive Guided Tours

Sara Broersma has been in the field of tour guiding for 25 years in the Southwest. Before heading out on her own, she was the tour supervisor in Mesa Verde National Park. In 2016, Sara led her Interpretive Guide team to win the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in the Adventure category. Sara would like to thank you in advance for inviting her on vacation, so she may share her backyard, a World Heritage Site, Mesa Verde National Park, Chaco Culture National Historic Park and the surrounding Four Corners Monuments.

In the historic town of Mancos, Colorado, Mesa Verde Motel is located just 7 miles from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park, a  UNESCO World Heritage Site .
Kilgore American Indian Art is a collection of vintage and antique American Indian art and jewelry built upon the roots of a Navajo reservation trading post. After spending much of her youth immersed among the ways of the Hopi and Navajo cultures,  Kelly Kilgore  is able to offer her unique expertise to your shopping experience.
Hobo’s Hideout is open year round, and, as always:
Hobo’s Hideout Bed, Breakfast and Barn at Mountain Shadows Tennessee Walking Horse Farm in beautiful Mancos, Colorado is your best bet for a quiet retreat from city life. It’s a safe place to overnight when traveling with large animals, and a destination spot for trail riders who prefer the creature comforts camping does not offer. A local outfitter will also provide you with horses, tack and trailer for exploring the trails on your own, using us as an overnight facility.
