Sister City Visitation

Mancos welcomes Sister City Attache’ Eric Beaty, President of the Rennes-Rochester (NY) sister city association , and his wif e Catherine . They will visit Mancos on May 2, 2019. Beaty was instrumental in helping to establish the Mancos/Feins Sister City project.

A reception will be held at the Outlier Cellars / Fenceline Cider
Thursday, May 2nd, 2-5 pm.

Please join the Town of Mancos, Creative Arts District, Outlier Cidery, Mancos Chamber of Commerce and the Sister City committee in welcoming them to Mancos. Light refreshments provided.

American Kennel Club (AKC) Socialization Training Activity Responsibility (STAR) Dog Class  6wks This class is for dogs under 1 year old
Starting May 3, 2019 5:30pm to 6:15pm  $100.00 

AKC Canine Good Citiizen (CGC) 7 to 8 wks This class is for dogs with some training and older than 1 year 
Starting May 3, 2019 6:30pm to 7:30pm  $125.00 

Price will include instruction with trainer, and testing for r certificate 
$25.00 of price will be donated to Denkai Sanctuary.  Classes will be limited to 6 or 7 dogs

A panel of four experts will present best practices for safety applicable to multiple sports or activities in the back country, followed by a question-and-answer period. Topics: Essentials to include in a day pack; decision-making/risk assessment in the outdoors; winter travel in the back country, and desert safety principles.
