Come join me, all ages and genders for Zumba Dance Fitness and a great cardio workout. Zumba combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using principles from aerobic and fitness to achieve cardio and muscle-toning benefits, mixed in with choreographed Dance Fitness songs. Every Wednesday at the Mancos Community Center from 5:30 to 6:30. 17 and under are FREE. $5.00

Looking for Burros to participate in Burro Fiesta!
Mancos Creative District is looking for a few good burros to participate in Grand Summer Nights Mancos Burro Fiesta on July 20th . The event will kick off with a burro race and then the burros will be "models" outside galleries in downtown Mancos. Burro owners can contact Veryl Goodnight for more details.  veryl@verylgoodnight.com
Mancos Valley Historical Society
Linda Simmons will be resigning as President of the Mancos Valley Historical Society at the end of the summer. She is going to work for Fort Lewis College again, and she has some poetry related contract work which will take her to South Dakota. If you are interested in this volunteer position, or know someone who may be interested, please contact Donna Watkins as soon as possible.

June Happenings
The Artisans of Mancos Gallery

is pleased to welcome Lesya Krasnikova,
a leather worker, as the newest member of the Artisans Co-op. She will be honored with a reception at the gallery from 4 to 8 on Saturday, June 15
as part of the Grand Summer Nights celebration.

Artisans of Mancos Gallery is also adding a fashion show to the events at the Grand Summer Nights. Clothing artist Kat Brener has recruited gallery members and others from the community to model some of her handmade and hand embellished garments. These will be shown in front of various businesses in downtown Mancos. Kat sells one of a kind garments in the gallery.

Come enjoy snacks while you meet artists from Mancos.
