Celebrity Cruises to Set Sail in June
This is the first cruise line to receive CDC approval to sail with passengers. The Celebrity Edge will depart on June 26th for a 7-night cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the Caribbean. 100% of crew members will be vaccinated, and all passengers over 16 years old will also need to be vaccinated. Beginning in August, this will change to 12 years old and up.

AmaWaterways
While select river cruises will resume June 19th, most sailings are suspended until June 30th. There are 5 new itineraries announced for 2022 and 2023- including Rhine Castles & Swiss Alps, Impressions of the Seine & Paris, Best of Holland & Belgium, Essence of Burgundy & Provence and Magna on the Danube.

Carnival Cruise Line: July 1st
Carnival plans to return to cruising on July 1st, but they are still finalizing COVID-19 protocols. Guests can expect CDC-recommended guidelines, which includes face masks, testing and more. Many itineraries can be expected for Fall 2021.

Princess Cruises: July 1st
Cruise destinations include Alaska, Asia, Australia, Caribbean, Europe, and more. Many of these destinations become available closer to November 2021. Princess will be following their CruiseHealth Initiative- including health screening, touch-free boarding, consistent sanitation, physical distancing, and some masks. Staff will also undergo training for COVID-19 instances.

Viking Ocean and River Cruises
Viking Ocean Cruises will resume in June, while River Cruises will begin in July. Vaccinations are required, and there will be daily testing. There are new air-purification technologies installed, along with encouragement of face masks and social distancing. Viking destinations include Iceland, Greece, Spain, the Mediterranean and more.

Disney Cruises
Though cruises are canceled through July 12th, they will be resuming cruises to the Bahamas, Mexico, Jamaica and the British Virgin Islands in August. In November, cruises to the Dominican Republic, Castaway Cay, Grand Cayman will also open up. Disney offers a 'Cruise with Confidence' where guests can adjust their sailing date or get a full refund if need be. Disney has not yet announced their protocols, but says it will be evaluated before returning to sailing.

American Cruise Lines: Open
As these cruises are based in the US, they have been open for cruising at 75% capacity since March 2021. Travelers need a negative COVID-19 test, and some regions require passengers to be fully vaccinated.

American Queen Steamboat Company: June 14th
American Queen will be following their SafeCruise Initiative, which includes a vaccine mandate, reduced capacities, face masks and enhanced cleaning. They offer cruises on the Upper Mississippi, the Illinois River, Ohio River, Tennessee River and Columbia River. These are close-to-home adventures that allow guests to feel extremely safe about their travels, without sacrificing any of the fun.

Norwegian Cruise Line
NCL announced 7 cruise ships sailing out of U.S. ports, beginning this fall. Voyages include Miami to the Caribbean, New York to Bermuda, Hawaii interisland, Los Angeles to Mexican Riviera, Port Canaveral (FL) to the Caribbean and more. In 2022, the Norwegian Sun will sail Asia for the first time, and the Norwegian Spirit will cruise Australia and New Zealand.

Azamara Club Cruises: August 28th
Azamara has established a Healthy Sail Panel, in order to assure they are prepared to begin sailing in late August. Announced cruises will be going to Greece and Italy. In the fall, there are more cruising options available. Contact us to book before June 30th, for special deals.
