State Chamber Update
This is a very interesting time in the business world, especially if you watch the market and geek-out (as I do) on earnings! According to MarketWatch.com, “Apple, Exxon Mobil and Facebook are three of the more than 150 S&P companies that will report in the coming week, even more than in the crowded week before.” It will be interesting to see how Beyond Meat Inc. does this week and other first-time reporters like Lyft and Pintrest who will report on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

On the other side of the age spectrum, General Electric will report on Wednesday. General Motors will share earnings on Tuesday, along with MasterCard, Merck, AMD and Grubhub. On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve will meet again and comment about interest rates. On Thursday, Bristol Meyers Squibb and Estee Lauder report. Finally, check out the latest Delaware Department of Labor statistics for unemployment in the U.S. and in the First State for September.
News You Can Use
The Case-Shiller home price index for August and pending home sales data for September are public on Tuesday. On Thursday we’ll see personal income and consumer spending data for September. We close a very busy week with construction spending numbers for September on Friday.
