Dear Friends,

Happy springtime! As the days get warmer, the heartbeat of Look Park seems to finally be returning. As the greenery and life of spring approach, there is plenty to look forward to in the months ahead! Below, you'll find some of the special programs and projects we have in store to make the most of the coming spring season. We invite you to be a part of this season of growth by visiting, participating in our programs, and supporting the continued care and maintenance of this valued community resource.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about how the Quabbin Reservoir came to be? Join us on Wednesday, April 15th, from 6-7 pm at the Garden House for a talk by author, historian, and lifelong Athol Resident, J.R. Greene.

Join us for our annual Earth Day cleanup event! On Saturday, April 25th, a group of volunteers and park staff will set out on a variety of projects around the park in order to get it ready for the season. Everyone is welcome to join - the more, the merrier!

Come and join the Look Park team at the Springfield Thunderbirds game on April 11th! A portion of each ticket purchased goes directly to support Look Park. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Look Park booth - we'll be holding a season pass raffle at our table!

As summer approaches, so does our annual Summer Celebration Auction - one of our park’s longest-lasting and most beloved events. All funds raised by the auction go directly toward supporting the park's daily operations and caring for this beautiful space.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers. From donating and obtaining auction items, to setting up the event, assisting with checkout, cleaning up afterward, and tackling countless behind‑the‑scenes tasks, our volunteers are the reason this auction continues to sustain the park year after year. If you are interested in helping out with this amazing event, please fill out the form below, or email our Community Engagement Coordinator, Connor Touhey, at ctouhey@lookpark.org.

As a private, nonprofit park, we receive zero funding from government agencies. We rely on the support of amazing patrons to keep our gates open and our calendar full.
