Wake up and smell the flowers

With the promise of sunnier, warmer days looming on the horizon, we have noticed a shift of energy in the air. Slowly but surely people are tumbling out of their hibernation caves, rolling up their sleeves, and dig back into the dirt. Our tables are filling, our flowers are blooming and our little elves can't wait to help you plan the garden of your dreams. Come see what's new; we're sure you'll be inspired.

Pericallis!

The Easter-egg colors of Pericallis are a joy to behold in the early spring. These low maintenance flowers look terrific in containers or flower borders. Growing 8 to 12 inches tall, Pericallis, occasionally called cineraria (and sometimes senetti), produce daisy-like flowers in a variety of bold shades including purple, blue, pink, rose and bi-color. Pericallis thrives in cool weather and makes a great companion for other early-birds such as pansies, primroses or bacopa. They are also attractive to butterflies and are deer resistant! In honor of this very special flower, we are offering our reward members a very special coupon for the occasion.

Potted Roses

All of our roses have now been potted up and are ready to go home with you. Just remember that when planting, carefully ease the rose out of the pot while it is on it's side. Since they are newly potted, there is no established root ball and you want to take care not to damage the small feeder roots that are trying to grow. Just incorporate the loose potting soil into the hole you've dug and voila! Now you can go shopping for some vases.

Globe Lighting

Ethereal, whimsical and twinkly. All of our favorite adjectives rolled into one great globe. These LED globe lights add a perfect amount of ambiance to any room or patio. I can't stop thinking about how cute they would be with a little metal birdie hanging inside!
