Resources/guidance following the death of Her Late Majesty
The Church of England's website, which has been updated and now includes an online book of condolence, guidance for parishes, liturgy, prayers and more, can be found here.
The BBC has said a TV licence is not needed to watch the coverage of the funeral and other live ceremonial events during the national period of mourning. This dispensation allows communities organising events in premises where TV is not usually watched, to screen the ceremonial events live. The full guidance can be found here
The Church of England has made a variety of resources available for churches. These include images of the Queen and King Charles III, along with music marking the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. These are downloadable via the ACNY Resource Hub, which only editors are able to access.
Cambridge University Press has been privileged to be The Queen’s Printer since 1990, and is honoured to have been asked to publish the Special Forms of Service that will be used by clergy in many church and cathedral services of commemoration during the coming days. Download the forms here
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, during the national mourning period, has issued guidance for faith and belief groups and those who manage places of worship, who may wish to play an active role during this period. View the guidance here
