National Volunteer Week is our opportunity to celebrate the volunteers who make a meaningful difference every day. This year’s theme, Ignite Volunteerism, recognizes the spark volunteers bring to their communities and the inspiration they create through their passion and commitment. Here in Blackfalds, volunteers fuel countless programs, events, and initiatives...their efforts (whether front and center or behind the scenes) help our community shine!!
We are excited to honor our award recipients at the 2026 Blackfalds Volunteer Gala on May 7. Local organizations are encouraged to attend as we celebrate the people who make a difference in our community. This year, we are combining the Best of Blackfalds Awards and Youth Recognition Night into one enhanced, community wide super gala!! Held during Youth Week at the Eagle Builders Centre, guests can enjoy our popular Oscar‑themed evening, complete with a red‑carpet entrance, photo opportunities, a light supper, youth performances, and the awards presentation.
