We have recently launched our Pop-Up Library! This initiative was started to expand services to Vance County patrons and is funded by a grant from the John William Pope Foundation.
At the Pop-Up Library, you can get a library card, access wi-fi, return books, and place holds. You can receive instruction on using the online databases and Overdrive digital media set-up. There will also be a limited number of books available for check out.
For a limited time, visitors can play a game for a chance to win a great prize!
Initially, the pop-up will be at:
- Corner of Winder and Chestnut on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am to 2pm, weather permitting.
- Wednesdays at the Vance County Farmers’ Market from 9am to 1pm.
