Living Experience
Allen Hancock knows a lot about making financial decisions. What’s different now is that he’s experiencing milestones he’d only previously guided clients through. “I’m caring for an aging mom, I have two adult children, a brand-new granddaughter and still have two young ones to put through college one day. What I want my retirement to look like is becoming a very real question in my head now,” says Allen.
While everyone has unique factors that affect them, Allen’s personal experiences are an important reminder. Not only of how hard it is to make financial decisions, but how easily feelings and worries can take the wheel. “Making these choices and decisions is overwhelming to me, and I’ve done this my whole life,” he says.
