Reading Buddies Make an Impact!

Charlotte County Reads partners took the time to thank the human lighthouses in our community, those being a beacon for others.

At lunch sponsored by school board member and Reading Buddy Volunteer, Kim Amontree, partners and volunteers convened to offer gratitude, and a rally call for more reading buddies.

Uniting Community

This month, a board and staff social was held with the Charlotte Community Foundation. It was a great opportunity to learn more about each organization and share our priorities.

The Charlotte Community Foundation has a focus on building endowments and trust within Charlotte County. UWCC highlighted our mission, vision and programs. We learned ways to connect and explore how we can collaborate effectively. Here's to a bright future for our community.

Several of our staff joined hundreds of other leaders from all over the world and more than 140 leaders right here in Charlotte County at The Global Leadership Summit.

On August 1, we celebrated Angie's 10 year workiversary with UWCC. Surprise guests visited the office throughout the day bringing good wishes and laughter.
