A Celebrated Journey through a favorite region of Scotland

Featuring: Rufflets, St Andrews

The most misunderstood region of Scotland is Fife, encompassing St Andrews and a multitude of beautiful coastal towns and fishing villages. Because this region is the best in the world for golf, it's characterful seaside atmosphere and cultural riches are thoroughly overlooked.

This Celebrated Journey shows just how your clients can find the most authentic Scottish experiences, family attractions, unbelievable history, scenery...and of course a number of excellent golf courses. This is all within 60-90 minutes of Edinburgh Airport.

One of our most innovative Celebrated Hotels is Rufflets in St Andrews, a country house surrounded by 10-acres of gardens and woodland. This hotel makes a strategic base and we are excited to share how we would spend a longer stay in this region!

Explore the region

St Andrews is located on the East Coast of Scotland in the Kingdom of Fife directly on the North Sea. This historic region, full of character, was home to Scotland's ancient capital for six centuries, Dunfermline. Fife has always been at the heart of the nation's history. Easily explorable, due to its relatively small size, Stirling, Dundee, and Bannockburn are all a short drive away. Our excellent Celebrated Driver Guides in the region delight in sharing stories (true and legendary) as they navigate the countryside, coasts and towns.

St Andrews Highlights

We have been talking about how special St Andrews is for years! Yes, this is the home of golf (with The Old Course) and so many other favorite courses in the are such as Carnoustie and Kingsbarns. Even without golf, it has huge historic, cultural appeal to rival any other Scottish destination, featuring the dramatic ruins of St Andrews Cathedral. Also famous for its prestigious University with a royal connection (where Will & Kate fell in love) there is a charming, neighborhood vibe, perfect for strolls as you pass local restaurants, independent shops, and welcoming locals.

A Hiker's Paradise

Stretching from the Firth of Forth to the Firth of Tay, tracing the coastline of Fife, the 117 mile Fife Coastal Path is one of the most beautiful walks in the UK.
