Greetings!

The recent unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russian forces has led to a devastating onslaught, the displacement of millions of people and Europe's worst refugee crisis since World War II. The world is witnessing another humanitarian disaster and many Holocaust survivors are reliving yet another brutal war.

Please join us on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 3:30- 5:30 PM (EST) for a Live Virtual Concert Performance with renowned American Pianist Dr. David Goldblatt.
Dr. Goldblatt will perform the works of Viktor Ullmann, Pavel Haas, Gideon Klein and Hans Winterberg. This is a Tour for Tolerance (TFT) fundraising effort to get medical supplies, food, and water for dispersed Ukrainians and those living in besieged, bombed towns and cities. We are also supporting the Ohmatdyt Hospital, the largest Children's Hospital in Kyiv, with pallets of medical supplies and food items.

Terezin, Czechoslovakia
From 1940 to 1944, the Nazis arrested renowned musicians, composers, conductors, and performers and deported them to the Terezin Concentration Camp in Czechoslovakia, subsequently murdering them in the gas chamber. Despite the suffering and hardship of these musicians' last few years, their dedication to music, composition, and performance continued in that Concentration Camp.

Dr. Goldblatt, through his performance, will take you on a musical journey into the world of Terezin. Dr. Goldblatt will perform the music composed in the Ghetto and the Concentration Camp. He will start with the works of composer Pavel Haas, one of the most influential composers at Terezin.
