Greetings!

Every year, our team works hard to come up with memorable campaign themes that will inspire you and your coworkers to give back to our community. That's why we are so excited to debut this year's campaign theme, Stories United!

Everyone has a story that links them to our community and United Way. Stories like being homeless as a teenager and then giving back through the Community Investment Fund as a business owner. Or being hungry on the weekends as a child and giving back by volunteering and donating to a food pantry as an adult. Or, in Bella and her family's case, using mental health services through Girls Place's BrainPower program.

Watch Bella’s journey through her transition from second to third grade and how the services at Girls Place like the BrainPower program helped Bella grow into a more confident young woman.

  • Plan fun and visible campaign events, like a chili cook-off, penny wars, or a bingo day.
  • Create an incentive for the employee’s gift. Some incentive ideas could be jeans day or PTO time!

We also introduced our Social Media Star competition! Tag us and use hashtag #StoriesUnitedGNV with photos of your campaign events! Our team will compile all the photos at the end of campaign season in November and the winner will be announced and given an award at our Campaign Finale in the spring!
