Thank you to everyone who's already fostering and saving lives!
17 shelter dogs make it to rescue up north!
A total of 17 Stockton shelter dogs have made it to rescue in Canada!

A massive thank you to rock stars Crystal and daughter Olivia for getting them from Stockton to Montana safely!
And thank you so much to all who donated to help cover costs!

In total, that's 57 Stockton dogs' lives saved in 2021 solely through SSPA's partnership with Canada's Prairie Pitbull Rescue, along with Animal Protection League and City of Stockton Animal Shelter folks.

When you work as a team (even across countries), hold the same passion, values and goals, and put the dogs first, organizations and groups save lives!

As we always say, SSPA is a nonprofit where all dogs matter and where we treat all dogs as individuals. We feel so fortunate to have found so many like-minded groups who truly give their all for the dogs and want to have a big impact!
Help cover dog transport costs - along with SSPA's other life-saving programs - by donating at sspetsalive.com/donate!

We can’t thank you enough for giving your all for our region’s dogs who are most in need!

Pebble

Pebble is one very gentle, very sweet and lovely girl.

Foster Sari said, "I wanted to let you know that Pebble is doing great..... You can tell that she has been in a home but she was probably confined to the garage. Every time I say 'let's go to bed' she goes to the garage door, or after we've been in the backyard she'll go to my side garage door. She knows that a dog bed is for her; she loves sprawling out wherever she lays. She was resistant to the crate but now she goes in like a dream."

She’s wonderful!

Ready to make her part of your family?! Fill out an adoption application.
