The last two weeks at Tailwheel Town

Y'know what?  I don't think that the PA12 has been out of the hangar for the last two weeks, so much snow has accumulated at the Sisters airport and my neighborhood adjoining it.
The last time we had this much snow we were flying the 140!  Mister Piper is toasty warm in his hangar.

BUT the good thing is that I have been writing like crazy and am about to do some video editing.  Some of you will be happy to see the new stuff, some will be upset that I'm creating more garbage.  I guess we'll see.  And it looks like I'm going to be one of the instructors once more at Ladies Love Taildraggers (LLT).  The latest scholarship winners to come to Tailwheel Town to fly with me will also be the recipients of the new training syllabi that I have currently adopted. New tailwheelers and the poor guy who has been training with me when stopped by the snow will also be recipients of the new course which is now longer.  I'll still bash Acme and all the flying "whuffos" out there, but I'm also committed to make those who train with me significantly better pilots.  The "Tailwheel Flight Training" page of tailwheelersjournal.com will eventually include the new changes, I just haven't had time to change it!

I figured it wouldn't hurt to put this photo up of the new book,  "Swoop", along with a link with which you can order a copy for yourself!  Or you can get an autographed copy by emailing Brian at the Tailwheeler's Journal.

A new article on the Tailwheeler's Journal

As promised, this week's new article is "Prop Slingin' a Specialty".  It was a story that I found to be fascinating and I hope you do as well.

An older article worth another look...

I wrote, First Balloon Solo a while back.  In fact, I haven't flown a balloon in a very long time.  But this little story is one I've never forgotten and I hope you like it.
