Inspired by Community December 2018
As the New Year begins, we take a moment to reflect.

The holiday season has been magical at Saint Louise House. Our community of support has lavished their joy and generosity on the families of Saint Louise House, providing 91 warm coats and pairs of comfy pajamas, wrapped presents for 135, and a multitude of stocking stuffers and gift cards.

The greater gift has been the tangible reminder of what the magic of the season truly looks like -- joy and generosity.

Your joyful giving shows that the magic of Christmas is the magic of caring for one another and helping those in need. Your generosity shows the women and children we serve that you believe in them and empowers them to believe in themselves and fulfill their potential.

We hope these photos from the holidays at Saint Louise House return to you a little bit of the joy you brought to Saint Louise House families through giving this season.
This giant pile of coats from Coats for Kids warmed our hearts and is sure to keep each child at Saint Louise House just as warm this winter! Thank you to donors who provided additional coats for children needing a special size.
One of our favorite traditions, the Holiday Store, gives children living at Saint Louise House an opportunity to choose a unique gift for their mother. Children often take time to contemplate what exactly to get a mother who gives so much!
Stocking stuffers came from friends all over, and we loved all of the unique gifts the Saint Louise House children received in stockings bought and assembled by even more of our friends!
Among other surprises, Kendra Scott provided a photographer and a beautiful backdrop for family and Santa pictures at our holiday party.
The abundance of gifts that came through our office to go to families are sure to bring smiles to 135 faces this Christmas.
Thoughtful volunteers like these from St. Catherine of Sienna provided a not only a wonderful meal, but also containers for families to take home the extras.
Thank you to our entire community of support for giving this season. Whether you provided presents, gift cards, holiday cards, or made a financial donation, you embody the spirit of giving, and we are grateful for your support.
Saint Louise House serves women-led families who need more time and support than emergency shelters can provide, but who do not qualify for other programs. We provide them stable housing and wraparound services, highly-individualized support and two generational services that foster education, financial stability and healthy living leading to lifetime self-sufficiency.
