Carver Center hosted our annual bike drive, sponsored by our community partner, @LinkingHandlebars. Children of all ages were invited to the Carver playground to receive a bike and a helmet.

CARVER SUMMER FUN EXPERIENCE
We had a dedicated and hardworking group of teens and Carver Staff members who created a rewarding and enriching Summer Experience for our Port Chester kids. Free books for kids!
Our amazing Turning Pages “rising sophomores” organized our well-attended Book Fair last week. Thank you Caroline, William, Brian and Ben.

Summer Meals for Kids
|
During the months of July and August, we distributed 11,230 free breakfasts and lunches to district children at Edison and JFK Elementary Schools.
At our Carver Market on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 897 children, 1,703 adults, and 707 seniors received pre-packaged meals at our weekly distributions in July.

HELP US SAVE LIVES!
Carver Center and the American Red Cross are hosting an upcoming blood drive on September 29 from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
Please join our lifesaving mission and schedule an appointment today!
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
