Envision Capital Campaign
Construction is Coming Soon!
Beginning Monday, April 5, you will see protective fencing surrounding the areas of construction. The map above is to help inform you where parts of our parking lot and campus will be blocked off. For your safety, we ask that you do not cross the construction fencing once it is on campus.

The entrance to the North Lobby will be blocked off by construction fencing, so when you are coming into the worship center, please use the main entrance, the south entrance or the back entrance.

We invite you to join us in praying for our upcoming Envision Capital Campaign. Here are specific ways you can join us in prayer:
  1. The Project – Prayer for our administration team and the architect/contractor as we begin the partnership. (Psalm 127:1, 2)
  2. The Church – Prayer for unity and an embracing of the purpose of Envision. (Psalm 9:1, 2)
  3. The Mission – Prayer that we might see the bricks, mortar, covers, etc. as means to facilitate worship and outreach. (2 Chronicles 6:18-21)
Sunday School Opportunities
Online Sunday School | “No Longer Slaves: Sons & Daughters of the King”
The greatest privilege of our salvation is the identity conferred on us through our adoption into God’s family: we are royal children possessing an inexhaustible inheritance. This truth frees us to live in light of this reality and compels us to worship such a generous God. This short class aims to encourage your love of the heavenly Father, your worship of the Son, and your keeping in step with the Spirit of adoption.

This class will resume next week on Friday, April 9. Click here to learn more and to watch this online class series.
In Person Sunday School on Wednesday Nights | Resolving Everyday Conflict
We all have conflict. This past year has especially seen a lot of conflict in our culture. Conflict take the shape of a tense conversation, or difficulties with a colleague, or online disagreement, or, more seriously, marital or inter-personal strife. Regardless, we look for answers and practical solutions to these challenges. Utilizing material developed by Peacemaker Ministries, this course unpacks through teaching and discussion what the Bible has to say about conflict and relationships, covering: the root cause of conflict; when to overlook an offense; what makes a good apology; what forgiveness really means; how to deal with difficult people; and more. This class is in-person Wednesday nights meeting April 14-May 26 with teachers Wade Byrum and Ray Gillis.
New Member Class | May 7-8, 2021
The New Member Class is for adults and students 9th grade and above who wish to join Christ Covenant Church. Our Pastors teach this class, which reviews Christ Covenant’s philosophy of ministry, the reformed faith, the Presbyterian form of government, the vows of church membership, and other topics pertinent to church membership. This class is required for those seeking to join Christ Covenant Church. This spring we will have a special two-day New Member Class on May 7-8, 2021. If you are interested in attending, please contact Michelle Gustavson at mgustavson@christcovenant.org.
Men's Retreat | May 14-16, 2021
What gives you heartburn? For most men it’s stress over work, paying bills, chasing success, their marriage, or how their favorite sports team is performing. Luke tells us that when two followers were with Jesus on the Emmaus road their hearts burned. There are many things that may cause us heartburn, but there’s only one person our hearts should burn for. Join us on the Men’s Retreat to learn how to free our hearts to burn for Jesus with Pastor Tom Groelsema as the speaker and Gavin Billings as the worship leader.
Two nights is $144 and a one-night stay is $100. Rates include a shared room, four meals (3 meals for a one-night stay), planned group activity, and a bonfire. Hotel-style accommodations. Learn more and register by clicking here. Registration deadline is May 7.

Morning Summer Bible Study | 1 & 2 Samuel
God called Samuel as prophet to bring His people out of the dark, chaotic time of the judges to establish a monarchy. Although an earthly king to rule under Him was part of God’s plan, the rebellious people demanded a king for the wrong reasons, rejecting God as their King. Samuel was used to prepare the Israelites to receive the anointed king, the throne and dynasty of King David. Through the line of David came the ultimate king, King Jesus.
As we study passages from 1&2 Samuel it can give encouragement, seeing God was still at work during a dark time in history to bring about His plan of salvation fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
We can evaluate our own lives - our loyalty and devotion to King Jesus. Does my life reflect that He is supreme ruler as my King, or have I placed other things on the throne in my life?
Join this Bible study on Tuesday Mornings, meeting June 8 - July 6, from 10:00-11:30am in the Community Life Center Chapel. This Bible study is free. Register today by clicking here.
Evening Summer Bible Study | Communicable Attributes of God
Please join us for a 6-week study of the communicable attributes of God…Those attributes that the Lord shares with human beings to at least some degree. For the months of June, July and August we will be sending out a 5 day devotional looking at a different attribute each week. Our Bible study teaching will center around the attribute that is being studied that week.
This study will be taught by a team of teachers. We look forward to a time of fellowship, delicious summer snacks, great teaching, and round table discussions.
Please plan to join us and invite your friends!!
Dates for the classes are Tuesday Evenings June 8, 15, 29 and July 6, 13, & 20 from 7:00-8:30pm in the Community Life Center Rooms 1-4. The cost is free. You can register now for this Bible study by clicking here.
