Christ Covenant is now on Spotify!
We will be using Spotify to make a playlist of some of the songs we will be singing during Sunday worship. This is a great way for all of us - young and old - to be able to learn songs we sing together in worship. You can find this week's playlist by clicking here. You'll need a Spotify account to log in if you do not have one. Spotify is a resource to play and share music on various digital devices, and we hope you'll enjoy this added feature.
Prayer Guides
We hope you will take time to submit your confidential prayer requests either online at ChristCovenant.org/members/prayer or by email at prayer@christcovenant.org. Your pastors and staff are continually praying for you!

We have new prayer guides for your use that can be found at christcovenant.org/prayer. Each prayer guide is printable after downloading and can be found below.

Why Attend the Faithful Conference?
November 13-14
I’m excited for the Faithful Conference and William Taylor’s teaching. A place where churches most often can grow is in the area of evangelism and sharing their faith. That is probably true of Christ Covenant as well. Coming from the UK, William Taylor understands how to winsomely and effectively share the gospel in a post-Christian context. As our country moves in that direction he has much to teach us about how to be faithful in engaging in evangelism. I hope you’ll make plans to join me at the Faithful Conference on November 13-14. - Tom Groelsema, Executive Pastor

Register today at faithfulconference.org! The conference is free. When you register to attend, you will receive a $10 off coupon for the Faithful bookstore, which is hosted by the 10 of Those bookstore! We also have free children’s programs on Saturday night for ages 4 months - 5th grade. All children’s programs on Sunday morning and Sunday evening will operate as normal. To register your child(ren) for Saturday night’s activities, register at faithfulconference.org. The deadline to register is Friday, November 12, at noon.

The conference Saturday, November 13, is from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. The conference Sunday, November 14 begins with a combined Sunday School in the sanctuary at 9:00 am. Conference sessions will also be during morning and evening worship.

Monthly Day of Prayer
Tuesday, October 26
All are invited to participate in the Monthly Day of Prayer on Tuesday, October 26. There are two ways you can participate. One is to come in-person for your prayer time to room 105 in the worship center anytime between 7:30 am - 9:00 pm. Prayer guides are provided for you in the prayer room. Another option is to pick a time slot and pray where you are, whether that’s at home or at work. The day is divided into 30-minute segments for individuals to sign up and pray for supported workers and for the needs of the congregation. You can select the time that best fits your schedule by clicking here. We also hope you will take time to submit your confidential prayer requests either online by clicking here or by email at prayer@christcovenant.org. Prayer cards may be found in the pews and may be turned in at one of the offering boxes located inside the sanctuary by the main exits. Your pastors and staff are continually praying for you!

“Surviving the Holidays” - Support Groups
Special Event on November 6
Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed because of a death or a divorce? “Surviving the Holidays” is a two-hour seminar starting at 10:00 am on November 6 in the youth area of the Community Life Center (lower CLC). This short event includes a video, sharing time, and a ‘Survival Guide’ filled with tips and encouragement for managing the holidays. You’ll be welcomed by warm, caring people who understand what you are going through and who want to help.

These special sessions are open to non-members, friends, and family and are a good introduction to the Support Group ministries.

November 7
All are invited to join us in meeting and in learning about the Eck family’s ministry in New England on Sunday evening, November 7, immediately after evening worhsip in the Community Life Center rooms 1 & 2 (CLC). After having served at Christ Covenant and with Campus Outreach for a number of years, the Ecks moved up to Atlantic City, New Jersey to help plant a cross-cultural, mercy minded, inner-city church called New City Fellowship of Atlantic City. For the past seven years they have come alongside Santo & Mary Ellen Garofalo who started the church 12 years ago. Peter is the Assistant Pastor and leads much of the outreach and evangelism focus of the church along with his regular pastoral duties. The Ecks have three children (Hannah-Grace 11, Caleb 9, and Haven-Elizabeth 6).

Join Women’s Ministry in Baking Fall Breads
We are asking and looking for ladies to bake fall breads for our upcoming Faithful Conference!
Bake any type of fall bread (pumpkin, sweet potato, apple cinnamon, etc) and bring your bread labeled with what type of bread it is. Please do not include nuts. Feel free to bake a gluten free bread. If your bread is gluten free, please label it as such.

There are two options for drop off. You can freeze your bread and drop it in the freezer in the lower CLC anytime. Or you can bring your bread fresh and drop it off in the labeled basket on the beverage station in the CLC on Tuesday mornings, Thursday mornings, or Sunday mornings. Please drop off your bread anytime between October 18-November 5. We are hoping to have breads to share during the Sunday morning of the Faithful Conference.
Please email Ginni Larkins at glarkins@christcovenant.org with any questions. Thank you for your service to our church family!
