Continued Progress
On March 4, 2020, C St. Village Cohousing had its second review by the City of Novato Design Review Commission (DRC). John Caye and Charles Durrett made a presentation to the Commissioners. Many C Street members attended in support as well. We received the enthusiastic support of the design review commissioners. In the next few months we will be moving on to the City of Novato Planning Commission for further review.

The role of the DRC is to review the site design, architecture and landscaping of the project. Since our last review we made several changes: 1) Change in exterior color to white; 2) Modified the architectural style by changing the type of dormers from gabled dormers to shed dormers; 3) Adding more green space near the common house and 4) Adding more parking spaces on the street, along with the required ADA spaces.
