Theatre Ontario Festival Opens May 15 in Richmond Hill

Our Festival is our annual celebration of community theatre in Ontario.

The community comes together this year with performances, detailed adjudications open to the public, a play reading workshop with Keith Barker, a Laban movement workshop with Melinda Little, and parties and awards celebrating achievements in community theatre. Tickets are still available.

This year's Theatre Ontario Festival features performances travelling to Richmond Hill from Bloor West Village in Toronto, Manitoulin Island, Kingston, and Sarnia.

Exploring and Learning Together
Our 2019 Summer Theatre Intensive runs August 4 to 9 in Kingston at Queen's University.

This year's courses feature training opportunities for creators, performers, directors, and music directors of all experience levels.

Grants
New Deadlines And Application Process Coming for Fall 2019
As previously announced, we are introducing changes to our Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP) and Youth Theatre Training Program (YTTP).

Among the changes are new application deadlines. Both programs will have a Fall deadline of September 2, 2019 and a Spring deadline of February 1, 2020.

We'll be sharing more about the application changes in our June enewsletter.
