Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.
Small people always do that,
but the really great make you feel that you, too,
can become great.

Some of our wonderful church schoolers, who made 250 snack packs for guests of the Groveland Emergency Food Shelf. The Food Shelf staff, volunteers and guests were incredibly grateful for the effort and love the kids put into their work. Great job! Next Sunday (October 25th) we will be working on another project for the Food Shelf as well as some activities to prep for Homelessness Awareness Month (November).

This Sunday, we do not have church school. Enjoy attending virtual worship with your family!

Afterschool clubs next week--
Here is the link to sign up for Builderspace and Artspace and tutoring/homework help! We have a wonderful volunteer who can help our students with homework, but I don’t want them to have to come if there is no one in need of help that week. Please sign up if you are interested in homework help/tutoring services on Tuesday evening!
Remember Improv at 5:30 on Tuesday and Biking at 5:30 on Wednesday are drop-in, no registration required!

This session of clubs will end on October 27th/28th. We will not have any clubs the week of November 2nd, and then start back again on Tuesday, November 10th. Our November/December session of clubs will focus on making gifts for family and friends, service to others, and special Christmas projects. A full schedule will be available within a week!
Join us for our Pack the Pumpkin Halloween Party on Saturday October 31st! Give your kids, teens and tweens a chance to show off their costume, get some treats, play some games and, most importantly, help us collect 1000 items of food for the Groveland Emergency Food Shelf! We are asking each family to bring a grocery bag (or more!) of non-perishables for the Food Shelf. Please visit our sign-up to select which party time slot you will attend.

Also, we are working to collect 50 photographs of church folks in their Halloween costumes from the past. These will be included in worship on Sunday 10/25 (next week!!!!!!) so please email me a pic of you, your kids, your family or your pet in costume by Wednesday October 21st!
Farewell to Paula
As we all know, our time with Paula Northwood will come to a close when she retires on December 31st. A planning committee is already working on ways we as a community can celebrate Paula and thank her for the incredible job she has done for our church community. As Paula began her job at Plymouth as the Minister for Children and Youth, the young people of Plymouth are close to her heart. We wanted to make sure that our children and teens get an opportunity to say farewell. She will be attending in-person church school on Sunday, November 22nd so that our kids, tweens and teens can spend some time with her. Church school on that day may look slightly different, as we will give you more info as the date gets closer. For now, please save the afternoon of November 22nd. Many thanks!
Stay tuned for next week--we have some incredibly exciting plans for Christmas programming that we can't wait to share with you. The holidays this year might look a little different, but we are committed to making the holidays magic for you and your family.
