YMCA day camps inspire kids ages 5-12 (must have completed kindergarten) to learn and play together. With new exciting themes every week, your kids will try new activities and experiences, and simply enjoy being themselves all summer long.
- Ages 5-12 (Must have completed Kindergarten)
- $150 for members and $160 for nonmembers
- Swim for 1 hour and half everyday
- Free swim lessons for campers to do not pass the swim test, for 3 days a week. (No additional fee)
- Campers can be dropped off starting at 6:30am and must be picked up by 6:00pm
- Special guest might include petting zoo, inflatable water slides, foam machine, Springfield Fire Department, Kona Ice, Deja Moo Moo Mobile, and many more!

Hey, parents of teens who want to spend all summer fishing, hiking, or watching wildlife- we're thrilled to announce we're hosting our first-ever Teen Wildlife Camp with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency!
This camp runs June 2-4, is open to rising freshman through graduated seniors, and will provide practical, hands-on experience in wildlife management from the experts who keep an eye on the residents of Tennessee's rivers, fields, and forests. If you have a teen interested in a career spent in the woods, this is a can't-miss opportunity!

Boys and girls grades 3rd-8th will spend a week together learning about empathetic leadership, building businesses, building strong communities, and creating through technology.
They'll meet and interview local business owners and leaders, explore things such as photography and coding and even meet with local politicians and city government to better understand how a city like Springfield, Tennessee operates.
At the end of the week, families are welcome to join students the last hour of camp for "Pitch Night" where students will pitch a community-changing business idea that they've worked on throughout the week to the crowd!
The summer camp program is one-week long, Monday-Friday, June 23-27, from 9-5 each day.

This week will be packed with education, creativity, and fun! Each day will include:
- Rotating educational classes and rehearsals focused on acting and performance skills.
- Hands-on lessons in technical theatre, where campers will help design and create part of the set.
- Group activities and games led by counselors and staff.

Summer can oftentimes present challenges for working parents. Weekly camps, amusement parks, and activities require planning, transportation, work schedule flexibility, and affordability. We have found the solution for your child’s summer fun, SHBCM’S Summer Care program!
Our program is structured around age-appropriate activities that will better promote your child’s physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development. Our staff is focused on providing a safe, Christ-centered program that is affordable, educational and fun. We are excited to introduce some new and challenging activities to our program this year. This summer we have several STEM projects planned along with fun games like (human) Hungry, Hungry Hippos, Pin Ball Knockout, and Nerf Gun Wars! These activities have been specially designed to meet your child’s developmental needs. We also have many field trips scheduled that will include Air Extreme, Circus World, and Top Golf, Basketball Camp, and Science Week. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to join us on field trips. We will create a sign-up sheet for parents to let us know that they plan to join on these events.

#NoFilter is designed to equip, empower, enrich and encourage girls to focus on self instead of the Selfie.
At the #NoFilter Girl's Summit girls will have the opportunity to participate in workshops covering health, wellness, self-defense, creativity, social media safety and self-esteem.
There will be group sessions, breakout workshops for small groups and a keynote address.
Registration covers the day of activities, lunch, a T-shirt and swag bag. #NoFilter Girl's Summit is girls in middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

We are excited for some elementary summer camp opportunities! These camps will be a great opportunity to develop skills, grow in fundamentals, fun competitions, all paired with daily spiritual emphasis. This summer, South Haven will be running three different sports camps for elementary ages:
The cost for each camp will be $50 per athlete (this charge will include a camp T-shirt), and all camps can be registered online in the links provided below. All students entering K-5 through entering 6th grade are invited to come out and enjoy the fun! Please see the attached form for more information.

Our Rock Camps are PERFECT for the kids! We have 3 weeks to choose from for beginners and 1 week for advanced rockers (at least 1 year of experience with any instrument)!
Mr. Perry's Music offers multiple summer camp options that go beyond your typical camp experience! These are great opportunities for new students to check out all Mr. Perry's has to offer as well as seasoned students to keep their musical chops tuned up over the summer. Camps take place in June and July.
All camps are Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm each day. Cost is $150 per week with a $50 deposit to hold your spot.

Astro Camp is a summer camp for students in grade levels 4th to 10th. You do not want to miss it!
The goal of Astro Camp is to give ALL students the chance to get involved in and experience Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) to inspire future astronauts and engineers to learn about space with NASA unique activities.

Springfield, meet your Freedom Fest Headliner: Will Moseley Music!
The City of Springfield is excited to announce Will Moseley will be the featured headliner at the city’s fifth annual Freedom Fest, presented by Grace Baptist Church. Will Moseley will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Robertson County Fair, TN Fairgrounds. The concert is free and open to the public.
Known for his distinct voice and powerful storytelling, Moseley was the runner-up on Season 22 of ABC’s American Idol. His fanbase has continued to grow with the success of original songs like “Gone for Good,” “Everything But Me,” and his latest single, “Mechanic.” Moseley has performed at venues across the country, delivering crowd-pleasing sets that span from classic to contemporary country. He has shared the stage with artists including Zac Brown Band, Dillon Carmichael, Whey Jennings, Megan Moroney, Marhsall Tucker Band, and other notable national acts.
Freedom Fest will also feature performances by Emmy Russell, an American Idol finalist and granddaughter of country music legend Loretta Lynn, as well as pop/funk dance group The Band Entice and classic rock/new country band Buzzy Poole & Friends. Performances begin at 5:30 p.m.

In celebration of National Fishing Month, each June, the Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) hosts a Free Fishing Rodeo for children 14 years of age and under.
Registration is required and is available online starting May 5 or in-person the day of the event at 7:00 a.m. under the pavilion located next to the pond.
Participants must bring all fishing gear and bait - (no artificial lures allowed). Don't forget your bucket or stringer. Prizes will be awarded mid-morning. At the conclusion of the event, the lake is open for free fishing the rest of the day.
TWRA stocks the pond with catfish, bream, sunfish, and other small fish for the event. Check our Facebook page for updates. (no license required)!

The 14th Annual Live the "Green" Way LIQUID COLOR 5K takes place at the Robertson County Fairgrounds making use of the scenic Springfield Greenway as a "down and back" course following along the beautiful Sulphur Fork Creek. This is a primarily flat course with a slight incline towards the finish line. It is a fast course, work on your personal record. Also, near the finish line are the infamous COLOR LANES, but don't worry, if you don't want to be sprayed we have SPLASH FREE AREA
