A NOTE FROM DAVID'S DESK

Together, we are able to prioritize joy and live well.

Dear Friend of The League,

The nation may celebrate Wellness Month in August, but at The League, we actualize our physical, mental, and emotional health goals every day. Our accessible facilities promote a rejuvenation of mind and body for all who enter - from corporate volunteer groups like BGE, to community members like Ms. Diane - we advocate for the best versions of our participants, staff, and visitors by making a commitment to living well and prioritizing joy.

Our joy comes from many different sources, and is shown in many different forms. It can stem from harvesting the perfect cherry tomato from the raised horticulture bed in the expanded garden space at Cold Spring Lane. Or from receiving an offer letter from that job interview that you felt completely prepared for thanks to your Employment Specialist team and the Meaningful Day Career Day. Or from dancing the Cha Cha Slide with your best friends at CLUB1111 on a Saturday night! All are made possible through your support.

Whatever the reason is that you find joy in our mission, I hope that you continue to stay involved with us as we empower our participants, their loved ones, and our community members to live happy, fulfilling, and healthy lives! Take care, and be well!

Sincerely,

David A. Greenberg

President & CEO
