There’s Still Time to Join Us!

100-Hour Yoga Therapy for Youth Certification Begins September 19th

Our 2026 100-Hour Yoga Therapy for Youth Certification officially begins September 19th, and there is still time to join us!

If you’ve been feeling called to deepen your ability to support children, teens, and young adults through therapeutic yoga, somatic practices, nervous system regulation, sensory integration, and whole-person care, I would love to welcome you into this year’s cohort.

And you haven’t missed anything.

When you register for the full certification, you’ll receive immediate access to all of the pre-recorded and on-demand Public Modules that have already taken place, so you can begin exploring the material on your own time and at your own pace.

Then, on September 19th, we gather virtually as a community for the first time.

This is where the deeper journey begins.

Together, we’ll explore the foundations of therapeutic yoga for youth through the koshas, chakras, and Eight Limbs of Yoga, while beginning to build the relationships, shared learning, and supportive community that will carry us through the certification.

Throughout the 100 hours, we’ll move beyond simply learning techniques. We’ll explore the why behind the practices - and how child and adolescent development, the brain and nervous system, sensory processing, neurodivergence, trauma, mental health, primitive reflexes, anatomy, yoga philosophy, and somatic practices can all inform the way we support youth & young adults.

More Than a Training

A Supported & Embodied Learning Journey

As part of the 100-Hour Yoga Therapy for Youth Certification, you’ll not only gain access to a rich and in-depth curriculum, but you’ll also be supported in bringing what you learn into your own body, practice, and work with youth.

Throughout the certification, you’ll receive weekly practices designed to deepen your embodied learning, giving you the opportunity to experience the tools and concepts for yourself before bringing them into your work with children, teens, and young adults.

You’ll also receive ongoing mentorship with Shawnee Thornton Hardy, with opportunities to ask questions, deepen your understanding, and integrate the material into your own work.

And you won’t be doing it alone. One of the most meaningful parts of this training is the opportunity to connect with a like-minded and like-hearted community of professionals who share a passion for supporting young people with greater compassion, curiosity, and understanding.

You’ll also receive a growing collection of resources to support your work, including therapeutic assessments, yoga and somatic practices and sequences, handouts, tools, recordings, and additional resources you can return to throughout the training and beyond.

Your Full Certification Includes:

  • All Public Modules - live, recorded, and on demand
  • All Certification-Only Modules
  • Weekly embodied learning practices
  • Mentorship with Shawnee Thornton Hardy
  • Live community gatherings, connection, and support
  • Therapeutic assessments and practical resources
  • Yoga and somatic practices and sequences
  • Tools and resources you can integrate into your work with youth

This is not simply about accumulating 100 hours. It’s an opportunity to learn, experience, embody, connect, and grow into this work - with mentorship and community alongside you.

We Begin September 19th. There’s Still a Place for You.

Whether you’re a yoga teacher, yoga therapist, educator, mental health professional, clinician, or another professional supporting children and teens, this training offers an opportunity to deepen both your knowledge and your capacity to meet each young person as the whole person they are.

If you’ve been considering joining us, now is a beautiful time to step in.

Register today, begin exploring the on-demand modules right away, and join us September 19th as we begin this journey together.

🌿 Happening This Saturday!

Therapeutic Yoga for Youth: Child & Adolescent Development, Sensory Integration & Primitive Reflexes

Saturday, September 12 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM Pacific | Live on Zoom

How does a child’s developing brain, body, and nervous system learn to move, organize, regulate, and engage with the world?

Join me for an experiential exploration of sensory-motor development, the nervous system, sensory integration, and foundational movement patterns that support body awareness, balance, coordination, motor planning, attention, learning, and regulation.

We’ll explore the role of primitive reflexes within development, signs that reflex patterns may still be active, and how they can influence movement, sensory processing, and nervous system states.

Through rhythmic movement, yoga, sensory-based practices, and developmental movement, you’ll experience practical ways to support greater body awareness, coordination, sensory integration, nervous system regulation, and embodied learning.

✨ Come ready to learn, move, experience, and deepen your understanding of the developing brain, body, and nervous system.

Can’t attend live? A recording will be available for 4 months.

Early Bird registration ends September 9th!
