Happy New Year!

It seems like we were just saying, "Happy Thanksgiving!" Ready or not, 2024 is here and kicking - and week one is done!

I'm doing something different this year... no resolutions! Just going to strive to stick to a positive mindset and focus on one thing at a time, doing the best I can. And I know that that... will be good enough!

What are your plans for 2024? I think we all have plenty to keep us busy! Remember to take occasional 'brain breaks' whether to your back porch, backyard, around the block, or to the next state! We all need downtime and you know it's good for the soul!

Thank you all for your business and attention over the past year - we appreciate every one of you. We could not grow without your support and we look forward to another year of advancement with your help.

TIP 1 - ENJOY THIS 'YEAR IN REVIEW'!

Four of us got together and recorded LinkedIn 2023 Year in Review. It was great fun and we were also serious about offering our opinion on what was good and what wasn't so good this year! Gillian Whitney is a video livestream expert who resides in Las Vegas and organized our review with finesse! TIP 2 - CLEAN UP THOSE ADS IN YOUR FEED

Yes, it can be done! When you see an ad or promotion that simply isn't interesting but rather distracting, tap the '3 little dots' in the upper right corner of the ad and choose 'Hide or Report this Ad'. That's not a bad thing! You're simply telling the algorithm you'd rather not see that subject again. Do this for a few consecutive days and watch what happens... Your LinkedIn feed will be far less cluttered with ads - be diligent!

TIP 3 - ARE YOU IN TRANSITION?

This would be a good time to:

• Review your resume for any needed updating
• Review your LinkedIn profile - is it current/fresh?
• Get a complimentary review of your profile - right over the phone!
