There is always so much happening within the City of Nampa. It's budget season and we are busy working on the next proposed budget for FY2024, which begins October 1, 2023. I would like to thank our finance team and the staff for their efforts. More information can be found here.
This week, the City of Nampa officially switched to a new public meeting system which includes improved features for citizen engagement. Check it out!
It is also Dispatcher Appreciation Week as well as 2C Kids Week...I'd like to say how much I love our community. Thank you to our dispatchers for your amazing work to keep our community safe and thank you to all those who participated in 2C Kids Week. Personally, I had a wonderful time giving out high fives at Ridgevue High School this morning with other community members, including the Canyon County Paramedics!
The Kiwanis Club of Nampa is hosting the 46th Annual "Mayor's Community Prayer Breakfast" May 4 at 7am at the Nampa Civic Center. This is a time-honored Nampa tradition and I hope you'll join me. Reserve your tickets here.
