Manitoba Chambers of Commerce Online Research Community Launched

Join Now to Ensure Your Opinion is included in Government Decisions

We invite you to join the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce's (MCC) online research community – MB Pulse – This exclusive platform offers opportunities for you to share your thoughts, experiences, and opinions, and to use your voice to influence MCC's policy development and advocacy processes.

Here's how the secure MB Pulse platform works:

1. To become a member, please take a few minutes to fill in a brief questionnaire and tell us more about yourself. By joining this select group and completing a brief demographic survey, you will be providing important insights to us about your organization, your role, location, etc.

2. Simply by sending occasional notifications to your email address, we will get in touch with you to gauge your opinions on a variety of topics and emerging issues using brief polls and questionnaires. Watch your inbox for messages from us and be sure to "whitelist" this email address (designate us as a safe sender) so you don't miss these important messages.

3. You may choose to unsubscribe at any time, but we'll make sure you won't want to! Data is collected in aggregate form only, treated confidentially, and will never be attributed to an individual - but it will be interesting! We look forward to sharing trends and insights with you related to business in Manitoba, and sometimes even with a national perspective, as we work together to collate data from other provincial/territorial chambers already using the same platform.

By joining this select group and completing an initial survey, you will provide important insights to us.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at [email protected] for a quick response.

Thank you!

As most of us know, Manitoba entered our first phase of re-opening on June 26th and it is expected that, since targets have been reached, that we will enter Phase 2 next week. This is wonderful! Our businesses deserve to be open and welcoming customers with little to no restrictions.

Unfortunately, that will not quite be the case. We believe there will still be requirements for double vaccinations, wearing a mask, social distancing and ultra sanitation. This is not a bad thing but it is one more thing that businesses are required to enforce. They did not ask for this responsibility but they have it nevertheless.

The Chamber of Commerce' job is to advocate for our Members which we do on a daily basis. As customers we need to support our local businesses in any way we can. The best thing we can do is follow the Manitoba Health Regulations and encourage our businesses and their employees to the utmost. SUPPORT LOCAL and BE KIND!
