2023 Dena Rae Tuscan Style Red Blend

55% Sangiovese, 45% Merlot.

Spofford & Bacchus vineyards. French and American oak finish.

This wine exhibits aromas of dried herbs, mulberry, cardamom and flint. The savory palate opens with tart cherry and tobacco wrapped in vanilla and blackberry overtones. The bright acidity, baking spice notes and firm tannin lends itself to a wide array of food pairings.

Many of you had the opportunity to meet my Mother, Glenna, the namesake for the Dena Rae red blend. This is one of my favorite wines to create. Much like her, this blend is well rounded, approachable and a little bit spicy!

Kailani red blend ~ Columbia Valley

42% Sangiovese, 32% Syrah, 24% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Spofford, Portteus, Alder Ridge & Double Canyon vineyards.

This wine is named after Kai, the sweetest, most adorable winery greeter ever!

Loaded with aromas of blueberry compote, cranberry, crushed rose petal and baking spice. On the palate it shows medium tannin, vanilla and chocolate covered cherry.

Both of these wines are very near and dear to my heart.
