POSTCARD FROM MISSION u RETREAT:
Greetings from UT-D! We had a great time together. Loved the study book: "Welcome Home " about drawing closer to God and one another. What a great experience! I enjoyed the fellowship most. More attended the retreat this year, including 15 first-timers. If you couldn't come you can still register for the evening or lunchtime Mission u options and feel the Kin-dom among you!

As women of faith we need to be aware of and knowledgeable about legislative budget issues that impact women, children and youth in our communities. Issues and decisions that elevate selfish greed over the needs of all humanity, especially those on the margins. Read more to learn what’s at stake when we don’t stand up and speak out.

"VIDAS ROBODAS"
THE STOLEN LIVES PROJECT
Groups across Texas are adding names of gun violence victims with age and date of their death on T-shirts. These shirts are a powerful representation of those lives in their community cut short by gun violence. Too many victims! Your can customize T-shirts like the UWFaith group* above. Send us your pictures!
This is a great hands-on mission activity. Shirts can be displayed this fall locally and then be part of the display in Austin for the 2025 legislative session. More info here.
