Galveston is a city built on legends, but some of its most fascinating tales are the ones rarely told and the places you see every day. Authors Christine Ruiz Hopkins and Heidi Lutz bring you Secret Galveston: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful and Obscure.

Whether you’re a lifelong BOI (Born on Island) or new to the island, this event will challenge what you think you know about Galveston. Join us for an afternoon of storytelling and book signing, and leave with a new appreciation for the hidden wonders right in our backyard.

Construction will take place in two phases: our new playground is projected to be completed by the end of October, followed by the pavilion and swing sets by the end of November. We can't wait to watch this vision come to life!
