MAY 14TH, 2020
"I can't change the direction of the wind,
but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination."

Things are changing! This week we saw the addition of an "interim order to turn the dial" allowing retail locations with private entrances and drive-in movie theaters to re-open. These businesses still have restrictions in place as to how they operate, but being able to welcome the public back into their stores and areas of entertainment is a welcomed change!

Yesterday the WI Supreme Court ruled against Gov. Tony Evers extended SAFER AT HOME order. This now shifts the responsibility to local governments to enforce how local businesses and the general public continue to be safe. It is highly encouraged to follow CDC guidelines at this time.

No matter the changes that remain to be seen, we continue to see businesses bridge the gap between consumer needs and social distancing. Leadership and business expertise is being offered in virtual settings to keep a proactive approach to growth, leveraging resources and maintaining positive work environments: even the ones at home. We applaud all these efforts and are once again reminded of the amazing community where we live, work, learn and play.

We have high hopes for what's to come! Several organizations and community groups have rescheduled their events and we wait with anticipation that soon we will all be back together again on golf courses, running 5K's, sitting under fireworks, listening to bands, strolling the downtown market and enjoying all that our hometown community has to offer.

"Patience is the calm acceptance that things
can happen in a different order than
the one you have in mind"

We thank each of you for your efforts to support, sustain and be safe. You are doing the hard work to keep friends, family and co-workers safe.

Keep smiling, keep sanitizing and stay well!
