The City will host a meeting on Tuesday, June 22 to receive public input for Pine Needle Park amenity suggestions.

We invite all residents to give their input at the June 22 meeting which begins at 6:00 p.m. located at the Cherokee Pines Banquet Room on N. Davis Drive.

Water Quality Report 2020
Great news!

Thanks to our partnership with ESG Operations, Inc., the City's water provision meets all state and federal regulations!

ESG's annual report includes important information about how water is tested and what steps are taken to ensure it is of the highest quality.

Work Session Location Change
As of June 1, 2021 Perry City Council work sessions will be held in the Council Chambers at Perry City Hall (1211 Washington Street).

Council meetings will continue to be held at the Perry Events Center (1121 Macon Road).

Historic Downtown Perry celebrated the space where the first Blue Bird bus was produced with a plaque at the corner of Ball and Commerce Streets.

The Perry Area Historical Society was on hand to read the history behind the famous manufacturer.

Traffic Changes in Downtown Perry
Traffic lights will be removed from the intersections of Carroll Street/Jernigan Street and Main Street/Jernigan Street.

This will allow traffic to move freely on Carroll Street and Main Street.

Please use caution and patience as we implement this new traffic change.
Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing Effective October 2021
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) designated 988 as the new, nationwide, 3-digit phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

To ensure all 988 calls reach the Lifeline, all covered providers are required to implement 10-digit dialing in areas that use 988 as the first three numbers in the seven-digit phone numbers.
