 Nearly all positions are open for re-election.

Student representatives act as the voice of the group or faculty they represent on Student Council. Reps work with Student Council to improve student life at King's.

The Master of Social Work application deadline is on January 15

Master of Environment and Sustainability Information Sessions

An interdisciplinary professional program. Apply with a degree in any discipline.  This Master's is a one-year, course-based with co-op program.

Veritas Series - shxwelítemelh siwel: Moving beyond states of hunger

Dr. Robinson will examine settler colonial states of perception as states of starvation during the gold rush. Dr. Robinson is a scholar of Stó:lŌ descent who holds the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts at Queen's University.

Kangnam University Activities

Students from Kangnam University will be visiting St. Jacobs Farmers' Market on January 20 at 9 a.m. There will be an optional sleigh ride. All are welcome.

Students will also be going to Boler Mountain on January 21 at noon. If you wish to attend, you will need to book your activity. The cost of the bus is $10.

KAIROS Blanket Exercise

The KAIROS Blanket Exercise is an experiential teaching tool to share the historical and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. Registration is required.

Map the System Challenge

A global competition to learn about the issues you care about and present your findings to the world.

Teams are required to explore, probe and research all the connecting elements of a social or environmental issue.
The deadline to register is January 22.
A winning team will be selected to move on to the Global Final at the University of Oxford from June 1-3

Indigenous Knowledge Keeper

Indigenous Knowledge Keeper, Liz Akiwenzie, will be on campus in the Student Life Centre. Liz can answer questions about the traditions and history of indigenous culture. Bring your tea or coffee for an informal sharing of knowledge.

Dr. Mackie will be speaking on how the opoid crisis impacts the London community. The perspective will be a public health perspective, informed by historical, cultural, economic, and political and social justice considerations.

Prayer for Christian Unity

 Join in prayer for Christian unity. The theme for this event is "Your Right Hand, O Lord, Glorious in Power" (Exodus 15:6).
 The Rev'd David Giffen, Rector of Church of the Redeemer (Anglican) in Toronto will be the preacher. Parking is free. Refreshments will follow.

15th Annual King's Culture Performing Arts Festival

This is the biggest, annual, multicultural event on campus!  Many students, staff, faculty and residents from across Western and the City of London will attend. Performances showcasing various cultural traditions include dance, singing, poetry, story-telling, country presentations and more!
