  • High School Junior, Alex Gouthro, for being accepted into the Senior District Concert Band as a percussionist. Alex was selected by virtual audition into the ensemble to represent Abington High School. Southeastern District is affiliated with MMEA (Massachusetts Music Educators Association), the state music organization. Alex will participate in a virtual festival experience on January 8th and 9th, 2021. Students will prepare 3 selections, work with a guest conductor and submit a recording to be edited together into a virtual performance to be shown at a later date.
