She is the only female who published as a stand-alone author of the essays in volume 10 of the 1989 edition of the Journal of African Civilizations which became the book Egypt Revisited.

Beatrice's chapter is a survey and evaluation of children's books on Ancient Egypt (circa 1989) titled "Ancient Egypt for Children - Facts, Fiction. and Lies".
