UWYC Wednesday Wins
We love summer! Although many of our summer plans have been sidetracked this year, abundance of fun and safe ways to get out and enjoy the beauty of Yellowstone County. Our building is still operating on a limited basis, please reach out to us directly to ensure someone will be around if you need to stop by.
Community Diaper Drive
Thank you to every group, family and individual who donated to the Community Diaper Drive!

Due to the outpouring of support and generosity from our community, we blew our goal of collecting 10,000 diapers out of the water!
The Community Diaper Bank is now stocked for the summer! You have ensured that families will not need to pick between buying diapers and food - paying for rent - keeping the lights on.

Thank you for LIVING UNITED!

If you or someone you know is in need of diapers, pull ups or wipes, please contact our friends at Family Promise of the Yellowstone Valley.
Volunteer Spotlight
Janet Carpenter has been a long-time community volunteer and United Way supporter.  As it became more difficult for her to continue with traditional volunteer activities, she thought outside the box for ways to continue to give back.

About 5 years ago, she began to knit animals and dolls for roughly two hours each day. Through a partnership with United Way of Yellowstone County and the Best Beginnings Council, the animals and dolls are given to children who receive services from the many agencies we partner with.

A thankful mother recently commented: “Thank you so much for the little knitted animals! My kids love them, especially my two year old. He carries it everywhere and even sleeps with it. You are a blessing to us.”

Janet says she is especially glad she is able to give back during the COVID-19 isolation, and so are we! She dropped off the collection pictured above for families receiving diapers from the recent Day of Action Community Diaper Drive (Through).

Thank you Janet!
