During Pandemic
S hoppers are also cutting back on their buying.
McKinsey recently published their  survey findings  about shopper trends during Covid-19. They found shoppers are now going to 2.8 stores per week compared to 4.4 before March. That’s a 40% drop in customer visits.

Residents of Colorado’s Northeast Plains are gathering to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® on Sat., Aug. 29.Despite challenges posed by the coronavirus, the Northeastern Plains Walk to End Alzheimer’s is moving forward. But instead of hosting a large gathering, the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging participants to walk as individuals or in small groups.

Alcohol Sales End Earlier
Do To COVID-19
The state is suspending all alcohol sales from licensed facilities past 10 p.m. instead of the previous cap at 2 a.m. This measure , coupled with last week’s order that closed bars statewide, is part of a large-scale effort to reduce risk in an inevitably high-risk environment.


Some Executive Orders Get An Extension

Gov. Jared Polis signed an Executive Order directing the Colorado Department of Human Services to access  federal funds for child care services . The Governor also signed  Executive Order D 2020 146 , extending the ability for Coloradans to continue getting marriage licenses while clerk and recorder offices are closed. He also extended orders suspending  certain regulatory statutes  due to COVID-19, and concerning  petition collection  for unaffiliated and independent candidates.
